Nancy O'Dell started her career in the broadcast industry as a reporter at WPDE-TV, Myrtle Beach South Carolina. Later, she was a the morning news anchor as well as a crime reporter for WCBD-TV. Her reporting in Charleston on police leniency towards DUI cases led to the State Law Enforcement Division investigating the incidents. The Associated Press awarded Ms. O'Dell with an award for the Best Report of the year Award to all South Carolina media. Following her stint living in Charleston, O'Dell worked as anchor for NBC's Miami Station WTVJ-TV and as an investigative reporter. After that, she was hired by Access Hollywood to work as an anchor on weekends and weekdays. Alongside her job as the lead anchor on Access Hollywood Ms. O'Dell is also a contributor to NBC News' Today and also contributes to Dateline NBC. She has covered such events like The Oscars The Emmys The Grammys and The Golden Globe Awards as in addition to hosting a series of Pre-ShowArrivals shows for The Emmys and the Golden Globes. She co-hosted both the Miss USA and Miss Universe pageants.
